Before you book

When your stress response will not switch off.

What does it feel like?

Exhausted all day, switched on all night. You get through the workday on adrenaline, then lie awake with your mind still running.

The people who come to us call it tired but wired, and many have been living in survival mode for years without a name for it.

Why start with the nervous system?

Our belief is simple: you cannot optimize the body until you reboot the nervous system.

The Reboot Protocol is the first step of the Reset phase, and the foundation the other three phases build on.

How it works

What is the Reboot Protocol?

The Reboot Protocol is Reboot Vitality’s dual stellate ganglion block (DSGB). Under real-time ultrasound guidance, a local anesthetic is placed around the stellate ganglion, a bundle of sympathetic nerves in the neck, on the right side and then the left, to temporarily block the sympathetic signal. The right side is done on day one and the left side on day two.

  1. The signal

The stellate ganglion helps regulate your stress response. Under chronic stress it can stay switched on.

  2. The block

A local anesthetic placed around it, right side on day one and left side on day two, temporarily blocks that signal.

  3. The reset

With the signal interrupted, the nervous system has a chance to settle out of survival mode. Individual experiences vary.

What it is

  • An injection of local anesthetic, placed under ultrasound
  • Both sides of the neck, on two consecutive days
  • Phase one of four, not the whole plan

What it is not

  • Not surgery, and there is no incision
  • Not a medication you take every day
  • Not a replacement for your own doctor’s care

If your evaluation suggests the protocol is not the right fit, we will tell you before anything is booked, and point you to the right next step.

Why this protocol

What sets it apart.

Image guided, both times

Each injection is placed under real-time ultrasound, watched on the treatment-room monitor, not by feel.

Both sides, two days

The right stellate ganglion on day one, the left on day two: two short outpatient visits, back to back, to plan around.

Nothing to take daily

An injection in the clinic, not a prescription to manage.

A plan behind it

Repair, Restore and Optimize build on the reset.

Your options

How it compares, honestly.

Including doing nothing. Every option here has a place, and the reset is built to sit alongside the care you already have.

The Reboot Protocol compared with other options for chronic stress
OptionWhat it involvesTime it takesWorth knowing
The Reboot Protocol A local anesthetic at the stellate ganglion, right side then left, under ultrasound Two consecutive days, with 20 to 30 minutes of monitoring each day Two medical injections; your evaluation decides if they suit you. Individual experiences vary.
Medication from your doctor A prescription, taken daily Ongoing It has a real place. Never stop a medication without talking to the doctor who prescribed it.
Stress management Sleep, training, coaching or therapy, and time off Weeks to months, and ongoing Worth doing either way; the reset works alongside it, not instead of it.
Doing nothing Waiting for the pressure to ease Open ended Sometimes stress does pass. If you have been tired but wired for months, an evaluation is a reasonable next step.

Candidacy

Is it right for you?

It may suit you if

  • Your stress response feels stuck on: tired but wired, on edge in the morning, sleep that does not restore you
  • You are an executive, first responder, veteran or athlete whose performance is being worn down by chronic stress
  • Stress physiology overload has lasted months, not days
  • You want the nervous system addressed first, before diagnostics, hormones or peptides

It may not be right if

  • You need urgent or crisis care today: call 911, or call or text 988
  • A health condition makes an injection in the neck unsafe for you; your evaluation screens for this
  • You are hoping to stop a prescribed medication; that decision stays with your prescriber
  • You want a single fix with no follow-up; the reset is phase one of four

Your consultation and nervous system evaluation decide whether the protocol is right for you.

Your two-day protocol

What happens over two days.

1

Consultation and Nervous System Evaluation

Day one starts here: a Reboot Vitality clinician reviews your symptoms, history, medications and stress-load patterns.

Day 1: right side 2

Ultrasound-Guided DSGB Injection, Right Side

Day one. Real-time ultrasound guidance is used to place a local anesthetic around the stellate ganglion, to block the sympathetic signal.

Day 2: left side 3

Ultrasound-Guided DSGB Injection, Left Side

Day two, the next day. The same guided injection on the other side of the neck. Treating both sides is what makes it a dual block.

4

20 to 30 Minutes of Monitoring, Each Day

After each injection you rest while the team keeps watch. Warmth in the face or a heavy feeling around one eye can come with the block, and the team tells you what to expect before you begin.

5

Day two. Both sides done.

Each day is outpatient: you go home after monitoring. The process requires minimal downtime, and your follow-up plans what comes next.

Cost and coverage

What it costs, and how to pay.

There are no published prices: your cost is confirmed at your consultation, before anything is booked. It depends on:

  • 01The protocol on its own
  • 02The protocol paired with comprehensive labs
  • 03The protocol as part of a broader burnout program

Coverage varies significantly by insurance carrier and plan type. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify coverage before your first visit.

Questions about the protocol

Short answers before you book.

Pick a question. Still wondering? Call (844) 727-2192

How does the Reboot Protocol work?

The stellate ganglion is a bundle of sympathetic nerves in the neck that helps regulate your stress response. Under real-time ultrasound guidance, a local anesthetic is placed around it to temporarily block the sympathetic signal, on the right side on day one and the left side on day two, which gives the nervous system a chance to recalibrate.

Why both sides?

Treating the right and the left stellate ganglion, on consecutive days, is what makes it a dual block, the approach the Reboot Protocol is built on. Your evaluation confirms it is the right approach for you.

Who is a good candidate?

People living with stress physiology overload, chronic stress, disrupted sleep or a morning on-edge feeling, often executives, first responders, veterans and athletes. Your consultation and nervous system evaluation decide whether the protocol is right for you.

Is there downtime?

The process requires minimal downtime. Each day is outpatient: after 20 to 30 minutes of monitoring, you go home.

Can I add lab work?

Yes. The protocol can be paired with comprehensive lab work, such as hormone, inflammation, metabolic and nutrient panels, so the phases that follow are planned from findings rather than guesses.

Is it covered by insurance?

Coverage varies significantly by insurance carrier and plan type. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify coverage before your first visit. Financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit, subject to credit approval.
